Shipping Policy
We offer delivery to both residential and commercial job sites. We strive to provide the best customer service and we ensure that your ordered goods are delivered timely, efficiently and without any issues.
- All orders are palletized and shipped by a common freight carrier. Order below 200lbs may be shipped via FedEx/UPS small parcel.
- We make sure all deliveries are on time but in case there is a delay, we will notify you on the provided e-mail address. Shipping companies do not guarantee the delivery time until and unless a guaranteed option is chosen. Please contact your sales rep for a guaranteed delivery.
- Business addresses can have a special discount by contacting our customer service at 707 702 0706
- As soon as the order is shipped, you will receive a tracking number.
- All deliveries are curbside. Your order will depart from our warehouse to the delivery address via third party carrier truck.
- All LTL deliveries require an appointment to be scheduled before the delivery. You must provide an active phone number to receive the call.
- For all LTL shipments, your presence is needed so you can sign off on the delivery receipt. Small parcel shipments will be left at your door without a signature required.
- DO NOT let the driver leave until you have verified the material received is in good condition and that all material has been accounted for. Any damaged or missing items must be noted on your delivery receipt. If not noted, Chughtai Floors cannot file a claim on your part to replace the lost or damaged items. In such cases, you will be required to file a claim yourself directly with the carrier.
- Do NOT refuse the delivery due to damage. Refusing a shipment will incur additional shipping charges that the customer will be responsible for paying, as well as delay any claim that can be made against the shipment. Refused shipments are subject to return shipping costs and any restocking fee incurred by the supplier. If you have received damage and believe it to be extreme excess, please contact Chughtai Floors right away for assistance.
- In case, the driver cannot wait for a detailed inspection of your order, we recommend you to put a note "Inspection Pending/Inspection not done" and then you may check if the material is in good shape. As long as you put a note, a claim can be filed with the carrier and you will receive a replacement of the damaged material.
- The customer has 3 business days to report a concealed damage or wrong delivery whatsoever to the customer support department at 707 702 0706
- In the event you don't respond to the carrier to schedule an appointment, you may be charged extra for re-delivery.
